Biblical Counseling Information Meeting
May 21, 2017
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you or someone you care about was struggling with a situation or problem and you didn’t really know how to help, felt inadequate or thought you were "over your head"? Have you ever wondered if God's word can really offer solutions to a broken marriage, addictions, anxiety or depression? Is there really a blueprint for parenting in the Bible? How about how to deal with conflict or difficult people at work? On Sunday, May 21 at 10:45 AM in the West Wing we are hosting an informational meeting for anyone interested in learning more about how to use God’s word to help others. For more info email Scott Meinema.
New Youth Meeting
Thursdays at 6:30 PM
On Thursday nights from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM our young people worship God by sitting under the expository preaching on His Word and singing His Praise led by our Youth Band. They are welcome to come as early as 5:00 PM to fellowship with one another. We will continue to meet on Sundays during second service in a time of deeper Bible study and prayer. All youth are welcome.
Find a Community Group
Join Anytime
Community groups are small groups, of about 10-20 adults, that meet in homes throughout the city, usually once a week. This is the primary way that we do many of the "one another's" of the New Testament: like encourage one another, serve one another, and forgive one another. Email Community Groups to find a group. You will also find a map of groups on the Community Groups webpage. But a much better way is to meet some community group leaders. You can do this at the Newcomers Reception, which we have once a month, immediately following each service on that Sunday. This month the reception will be Sunday, April 30. You can also ask about community groups at the Connection Center after service, on any Sunday.
