DSC is partnering with Care Net Pregnancy Center to support their efforts to provide biblically based counseling and practical help for women with an unplanned pregnancy and their families. Please take a baby bottle home and fill it with change through the weeks between Mother's Day, Sunday, May 13 and Father's Day, Sunday, June 17 (bottles are due back by Sunday, June 17). The Adoption Ministry's next fellowship will take place on Friday, May 18 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Vista del Norte Park, several blocks from DSC. Come to learn more about DSC's Adoption Ministry, meet other families with a passion for adoption and foster care, and ask questions. All family members are welcome. In late May, a team of nineteen will be headed down to Guatemala. This will be the seventh consecutive year DSC has sent down a medical team to join in the mission of Community Health Evangelism. Our team will hold medical and physical therapy clinics, as well as a Bible conference for Achi pastors. There is also a team of young adults (three strong) led by Marvin Gibson, that plans to stay for at least a month to continue to serve. This mission is in partnership with the Barreras and Dr. Jacobo Pineda and a ministry along side and to the Rabinal Achi of Guatemala.

If you would like to financially support this trip, use a missions envelope to donate, donate online, or drop off over the counter medications at the Guatemala kiosk or the Information Center. A list of acceptable medications is available at both places and donations will be accepted through Sunday, May 13.

Calling all wild-eyed DSC youth! We are taking mid and high school students to camp at the end of June. We will ride the party bus down to the enchanted forests of Lone Tree, and stay for a crazy-fun week of teaching, activity, and mission. The cost is $295.00 and fundraisers are available. DSC has a new Spanish speaking community group open to all Spanish speakers and those desiring to improve their Spanish. This group meets on Thursday evenings for a meal, fellowship, worship, and study in Spanish. Just like the other CG's at DSC, this group studies the sermon text each week.
