Mission Statement

Because of and in response to the amazing truth of the Gospel, the Hospitality Ministry desires to model that which we have been graciously shown — God has lovingly and graciously welcomed all people into His Kingdom. The glorious truth that God is hospitable to His people is the reason the Hospitality Ministry exists and in response to God's hospitality toward us we desire to reflect that hospitality to anyone who comes through the doors. We desire to make everyone feel welcome by greeting people at the doors, to assist anyone who might need information or directions, and to provide opportunities for people to connect over a cup of coffee and a cookie. In these simple ways the Hospitality Ministry serves to encourage growth in the church's love for God, His glory, and in the church's love for one another.

Serve

If you would like to serve and welcome the body of Desert Springs Church (DSC), here are ways you can be a part:

Greeters
Each service we have greeters at the front doors, in the foyer, and at the entrance to the Worship Center. We welcome people to the church, distribute bulletins, and answer questions for newcomers.

Ushers
For services and special events, ushers help seat people when the Worship Center begins to fill. They also help with assisting those needing special seating.

Coffee/Cookie Bar
At each service and special event we need people to set-up, care for, and tear down the refreshments.
