Mission StatementThe Jail Ministry exists to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to the staff and inmates of the Metropolitan Detention Center here in Albuquerque. We do this by conducting services and activities including evangelism and discipleship through Bible studies and one-on-one lay counseling. We introduce a Bible reading plan teaching inmates to do disciplined daily Bible study. Our ministry moves beyond providing evangelism and discipleship for inmates — we also train leaders by teaching inmates how to start Bible studies and organized fellowships with the jail.
