“Good Food, Good Company, for a Good Cause”

“For us, last year’s Dinner with Missionaries was a dress-up-date with good food, good company, for a good cause.   As members of DSC, we directly or indirectly participate in missions by serving and giving; the dinner was a great way to see the fruit of that.” – DSC Community Group Leader



This year we will feature the following missionaries:

  • Chuck Harper of Western Indian Ministries (WIM)
  • Eder Ixcopal of Operation R4 (OR4) from Rabinal Achi land
  • Mr. C, the father/husband of our second SNAP family headed to North Africa in early 2015.

Dinner details:

  • Date:  October 26th
  • Time:  5PM-8PM
  • Where:  Desert Springs Church
  • What:  Dinner, interviews with our missionaries, and exclusive access to the SNAP Silent Auction
  • Cost:  $20 per person
  • Childcare:  YES! $10 for childcare per family.  Includes meal and a program.

Menu – Autumn Harvest

  • Salad – Spinach Leaves, Goat Cheese, Cranberries and Walnuts dressed with Citrus Vinaigrette
  • Main Course – Rosemary Pot Roast with Roasted Vegetables (Sweet Potatoes, Russet Potatoes, Carrots, Red Onion, Fennel) Pan Gravy on the side
  • Dessert – Spice Cake with Fresh Apple Compote crowned withReal Whipped Cream
