We&#8217;re good at linking to good resources, but pointing you to a good blog is like teaching you to fish.<\/p>\n<p>One blog you should know about is <a href=\"http:\/\/headhearthand.org\/\">Head, Heart, Hand<\/a>, by David Murray.<\/p>\n<p>In a given week, David will interact with theology, culture, politics, and everyday Christian life issues. They were in a foster home and had foster parents who were extremely abusive and neglectful.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A sovereign adoption:<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u0153They had had it as worse as any other kid that has lived in the city of Pittsburgh\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6and I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122d had enough of it.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Jack Mook took matters into his own hands\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6and got the kids placed in a new home.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A sacrificial adoption:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0\u00e2\u20ac\u009d\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6And got the kids placed in a new home\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6his.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A beneficial adoption:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0One of the kids said, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I slept the best I ever did that night.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><strong>An enjoyable adoption:<\/strong>\u00c2\u00a0Mook said \u00e2\u20ac\u0153I\u00e2\u20ac\u2122m loving this. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s awesome. It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s the best thing I ever did in my life.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A full adoption:<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u0153This week he went to court and did one better\u00e2\u20ac\u00a6adopted the boys and made them Mooks.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p><strong>A happy adoption:<\/strong> \u00e2\u20ac\u0153You\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re a Mook,right? You happy? Good!<\/p>\n<p>And I just love the next line when Mook says \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Good, now you\u00e2\u20ac\u2122re going home to cut my grass,\u00e2\u20ac\u009d and the journalist closes with, \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Safe to say, the thought of chores has never been more welcome.\u00e2\u20ac\u009d Isn\u00e2\u20ac\u2122t that exactly how the adopted Christian feels about obeying and serving God? It\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s no chore; it\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s so welcome.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Life is short and in sin we fritter away our time\u00e2\u20ac\u201despecially these days on the internet!
