{"id":5681,"date":"2015-08-06T18:01:16","date_gmt":"2015-08-07T00:01:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.desertspringschurch.org\/blog\/?p=5681"},"modified":"2015-08-06T18:01:16","modified_gmt":"2015-08-07T00:01:16","slug":"calling-all-artists","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.desertspringschurch.org\/blog\/2015\/08\/calling-all-artists\/","title":{"rendered":"Calling All Artists!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Over at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.desertspringschurch.org\/ministries\/music\/blog\/\">DSC Music Blog<\/a>, Drew Hodge recently posted <a href=\"https:\/\/www.desertspringschurch.org\/ministries\/music\/blog\/?p=530\">a call for artwork submissions<\/a> for an upcoming studio album of DSC music.<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s the scoop:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Calling all DSC artists!<\/p>\n<p>We are almost done with <em>This Is Our Song!<\/em> Now we are ready to start the artwork for the record and we want you to help.<br \/>\nHere\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s how it will work:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are looking for all types of visual art (paintings, drawings, sketch art, photography, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>You submit your art to drew@desertspringschurch.org<\/li>\n<li>We pick what we think best captures the theme and vision.<\/li>\n<li>That\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s it!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>So, if your are interested or you know a DSC\u00e2\u20ac\u2122er who may be qualified, here is the vision:<\/p>\n<p><em>This Is Our Song.\u00c2\u00a0<\/em>These are our songs and our stories. These songs come from the life and moments of our church. They cover a range of biblical truths \u00e2\u20ac\u201c who God is, what He has done, who we are, our need and response. Christ and His work.<\/p>\n<p>If you could lock into one word \u00e2\u20ac\u201c story. His story through us. Every song has a story. Every song tells a story.<\/p>\n<p>Now, capture that with pictures, images, and few words.<\/p>\n<p>Please have your submissions in by August 14th<\/p>\n<p>Let the artistic juices flow, and lets make this record beautiful together!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t subscribed to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.desertspringschurch.org\/ministries\/music\/blog\/\">DSC Music Blog<\/a>, consider doing so <a href=\"http:\/\/feeds.feedburner.com\/DscMusicBlog\">here<\/a>.
