Here are thirteen <a href=\"http:\/\/www.desertspringschurch.org\/messages\/Date\/AUG_15_2010.php\">Lessons from Jesus on Witnessing<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>1. We must go to them<\/p>\n<p>2. We must remember that everything is a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153divine appointment\u00e2\u20ac\u009d or a \u00e2\u20ac\u0153God-moment\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>3. We should connect with people in normal ways<\/p>\n<p>4. We must, at some point, make a conscious turn toward the spiritual<\/p>\n<p>5. We must talk about sin appropriately<\/p>\n<p>6. We should appeal to the emptiness of this life (and Christ as satisfaction)<\/p>\n<p>7. We must be wise and clever to avoid the rabbit trails<\/p>\n<p>8. We must focus on Jesus \u00e2\u20ac\u201c who he is and what he came to do<\/p>\n<p>9. We must communicate substitution and the nature of saving faith<\/p>\n<p>10. We should explain what salvation is \u00e2\u20ac\u0153unto\u00e2\u20ac\u009d (i.e., worship)<\/p>\n<p>11. We must be confident that the results are up to God<\/p>\n<p>12. This mission should be our \u00e2\u20ac\u0153food\u00e2\u20ac\u009d<\/p>\n<p>13.
