2018 Medical Mission Trip to Guatemala
This year DSC is planning to return to serve the Rabinal Achi in Guatemala with a Medical Missions team. The dates have shifted to a day later than previously announced. It is set for May 25-June 3.
If you would like to get more details about this year’s trip, you can sign up here or on the DSC app. This sign up only expresses interest and serves as a request for more information on the trip.
Please pray for individuals as they consider going to serve in this capacity, for the work that will be done by the team God is gathering, for preparations that will be done during this next few months, and for the heart of those that the team will be in contact with during this trip.

Wood Cutting Ministry
During our hot New Mexico summers it’s hard to imagine there being a need for year-round fire wood. However, for families on the Navajo Reservation, it is a daily need all year for cooking meals and, in the winter, for keeping warm. On Saturday, August 12, 2017 a group of men got together for the Woodcutting Ministry’s quarterly trip to cut, load up and take wood out to the Reservation.
It was a great time of good conversations and meeting some of the families that are served by this ministry.
We would love to have you join us next time! If you are interested in helping, the next wood cutting fellowship is planned for Saturday, November 11, 2017. Contact Lee Scott at lees@leelandscapes.com.

Moving Help Needed
Hi friends!
Erin and Wayne Blankenship, who have moved to the Navajo Reservation as missionaries with Western Indian Ministries, are moving into a more suitable trailer on the mission property. They are looking for some hands to help with moving. The catch is, of course, that it is all happening on the reservation near Window Rock (NM/AZ border). This means a beautiful 2 hour drive, working to support these ministry partners, and then a gorgeous drive home. The move is on March 4, and we will be meeting at the church at 8:00AM. The Blankenship’s are happy to feed you lunch and would love to give a tour of the ministry campus. This is a great opportunity to encourage these ministry partners and see how God is at work thru WIM to reach native peoples! If you are interested in helping please contact Koren Saiers at 505-604-1032 or by email at korensaiers@gmail.com.
