A Ladies Tea

2015 | by Clint | Category: Global,Local,Missionary Care,North Africa (SNAP)

There is still time to register for the Ladies’ Tea. If you are considering whether or not to attend this year’s Tea, keep reading! Julie Wesselman, Gayla Reid, Debbie Anderson, Melody Shaddix, Kathi Tate, Charlotte Michnovicz, Teresa Moore, Kaycee Landis, and Rebecca Skatwed share their thoughts about A Ladies’ Tea:

Why should I go to the Ladies’ Tea?

The Ladies’ Tea is a great time of fellowship, an opportunity to bring non-church friends to DSC, and a great way for new ladies to get plugged into the church.  Attending the Ladies’ Tea also supports a great cause.

Why is it important to support these SNAP families?

We are their sole supporters. Their lives have been put completely aside to do this. They are the ones that are going but we are the senders and if we don’t buy into that it can fail. Our commitment must be more than financial, it must be heart support as well.

The update at the Tea keeps us mindful of the commitment that we made to them. It is a great way to keep connected with them especially if you do not know them personally.

How does Ladies’ Tea lead to more glory for Christ?

It is a good showcase for the body of Christ to work together and to accomplish his purposes. Those who attend the Tea have the opportunity to get to know the SNAP families better and thus they will be more mindful to pray for them.

With two days left before registration closes, go to Come hear what God is doing through updates from Mrs. G and Mrs. C.  It is a wonderful time of fellowship, fun, and glorifying God! This is one year you do not want to miss!
