We have two students needing services in May. One is a new student that is arriving on the 23rd and needs airport pickup and temporary homestay. The second student is an exchange student that must move out of his dorm room on May 9th and his flights departs Abq on the 14th. If you would like more information on either of these students, please contact isiabq@isionline.org.

Spring Break Trip

ISI Spring break photoWe had an awesome wintery spring break in Durango this past March. A very generous ISI Friendship Partner loaned us their vacation home which was perfectly situated for skiing, snowshoeing, sledding, and cross-country skiing. The days were spent outside enjoying the snow and the nights were spent playing games and enjoying each other’s company. A truly wonderful time was had by all.

ISI Baby shower

We have been able to celebrate two baby showers this March. Congratulations to the new mothers, Nilum and May. We are also happy to report that both May and Nilum have given birth to a healthy baby boys, Praise God! Thank you Burcin and Crissy Tikiroglu for hosting Nilum’s shower. May’s shower was held at Covenant Presbyterian Church.

Orientations

Now is a great time to get ready for August student arrivals. We are expecting over 400 new students for the Fall semester. Most will need airport pickups, temporary homestays, and friendship partners. I hope you can join us for one of these orientations and find out how you can be involved in this exciting and impactful program.Orientations take about 45 minutes and give you all the information you need to begin serving as an ISI volunteer. Daytimes orientations available upon request.

Below are two very different community opportunities that can help you find creative ways to share your faith with students. (None of these are sponsored  by ISI)
