Western Indian Ministries 2016 Spring Update

2016 | by Clint | Category: Giving Opportunity,Native American

Read below about a great giving opportunity to help support the Western Indian Ministries.

Spring is fully here out on the Rez! With it comes new opportunities for service to our Native American neighbors. Along with the day-to-day activities at the WIM campus, plans are well under way for our next outreach event: The WIM Community Sale. This event will not only provide much needed funding for WIM, but it also serves as a major outreach to bless our community. It is our hope that God will use this event to bring awareness of Christ’s presence in the midst of the people we seek to serve. We pray that the Spirit will move among us to create new and deepening relationships.
You may be wondering, “Is there anything I can do to help?” Well, there is! We are currently seeking donations of gently used household goods to add to our sale. This includes, but is not limited to clothing of all sizes, small appliances, linens, bedding, and baby items. Starting Monday May 16, you can drop off items at Desert Springs Church during normal office hours 8 am-4 pm, on Sunday morning at the connection center or call Erin Blankenship (505-307-1771) to make arrangements for pickup. The last day to drop off items is Tuesday May 31, 2016.

If you are interested in helping at the sale, please send an email to Kim Hawley at E_admin@westernindian.org, or call Kim at (505) 371-5749.
You are also invited to come out and shop!
