Preschool (Age 2 - Kindergarten)

Mission Statement
Partners with Parents Teaching God's Word

Our mission is to come alongside parents to form a deliberate team of teachers who share a passion for our children, that they may have "the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge." (Colossians 2:2-3)

We are committed to provide a safe, Christ-centered, loving environment where children feel comfortable learning, and where parents feel secure entrusting us with their kids during worship.

Bible Learning Components in Our Classes during Each Church Service
For the two-year old classes, we believe that no child is too young to begin learning about God's love and His purpose for His people, as revealed in God's word, the Bible. Using the Big Picture Story Bible, we will present the big picture—the unified story running through the Old and New Testaments. Children will learn the Bible's whole story, and begin to appreciate the fulfillment of God's promise to His people through Jesus Christ. Through Bible lessons, worship, prayer, and loving guidance, children will discover who God is and what He is like.

As for the three-year olds through kindergarten classes, Big Questions and Answers for Little People (designed and generously shared by The Praise Factory Ministry) is a three year children's systematic theology focusing on fifty-two key biblical truths. The children and teachers will be blessed together as they study who God is, who He has made us to be, His plans for us and this world, His work of salvation, and the things of the world to come. It gives children an opportunity to consider the magnificent way that God has ordered all things to His glory, and equips them with a strong foundation of God's truth.

Parent Participation
There are four key ways to partner with your church in teaching God's Word to our children:

  • Spend time with your child each week praying and talking about what they are learning

  • Encourage and pray for your child's teachers

  • Serve as a teacher or class assistant as God provides the opportunity

  • Pass on any concerns or suggestions to Tim Bradley
